5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors now available on HPE Synergy 480 Gen11!
Following the Hewlett Packard Enterprise December 14th announcement of the availability of 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors in HPE ProLiant servers, HPE announces the latest availability of these processors in its HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module. By leveraging these Intel processors in HPE composable infrastructure solutions, enterprises like yours can bring a new level of performance, capacity, and flexibility to the most demanding workloads.

As data demands keep pace with the growth and evolution of new business requirements, workloads are increasingly stressed. Today’s infrastructure capabilities of are often pushed to their limits, demanding that organizations strengthen their IT foundation to support new workloads.
To meet these challenges, HPE has enhanced its recently launched HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module by adding new 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. The HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module, designed and purpose-built to optimize workload performance, are well-suited to utilize these next generation Intel processors to their best advantage.
Check out some of the cool, new performance highlights of the HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module with 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors:
- Better overall performance. Support for up to 64 cores per processor, resulting in 21% improved overall performance[i] as compared to 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors.
- Enhanced memory features for latency-sensitive and memory-bound workloads. Up to 5600 MT/s (increase of 16%)[ii] and 2.7x increased last level cache[iii] compared to 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors.
- Enhanced I/O. Up to 25% higher UPI speeds than the previous generation[iv].
Engineered for your hybrid world, this composable infrastructure solution combines the best of on-premises and cloud computing with optimized performance for general virtualization, data management, hybrid cloud and VDI workloads. Additionally, with HPE’s trusted security by design, customers using HPE Synergy can feel confident their data and applications are secure and protected from factory floor to end-of-life.
The HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module featuring 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors will be available to order, worldwide, starting February 5, 2024, through HPE and HPE Channel Partners. They will also be available through the HPE GreenLake cloud platform.
With increased performance, enhanced memory, and storage flexibility, the HPE Synergy 480 Gen 11 is hard to beat. It is an excellent choice for general virtualization, data management, hybrid cloud, and VDI workloads.
