Autoloader 1/8 & insight messages
Every time that it changes a tape appears to generate insight messages:-
The system has detected the following event:
SNMP Trap: 5019
System URL: http://NEWSTCRS08:2301/
Date time: 03/15/2004 12:09:39 PM
Computer: NEWSTCRS08
Source: Storage Agents
Type: Error
Category: (4)
Description:
A 'SCSI Tape Drive Status Change' trap signifies that the Storage Agent has detected a change in the status of a Compaq SCSI Tape Drive.
Details:
Drive Logical Unit # 0
SCSI ID # 5
Port # 1
Controller Slot # 1
Tape Drive Status 'OFFLINE'
And another message when finished saying that status is OK.
Am using 5 tapes to backup 1.1Tb. thus many messages generated.
Any good ideas out there?

The survey file from this computer is attached.

For example,
HP Insight Management Agents for Windows 2000/Server 2003 7.0.0.0 cp003732.exe
HP ProLiant 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003 version 6.4.645.100;

Re: Autoloader 1/8 & insight messages
Insight Manager 7.1
Windows 2000 support pack 7.1
Does anyone from HP monitor these forums? Clearly this is a widespread problem, not an isolated one, and it has been going on for over 1 year.

Re: Autoloader 1/8 & insight messages
I used to get this error too with my Autoloaders, but HP relased new HP agents, specifically version 7.1 that fix this issue. Run the PSP and install the 7.1 agents and it should fix these very annoying errors.
