I have read an earlier article on here regarding updating the firmware on this drive requiring an override password in L&TT. The article is here: http://bizforums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x1b72402f24d5d61190050090279cd0f9,00.html I called HP support today and was told that this drive was an OEM drive and not made by HP because it did not say SureStore on it, therefore they couldn't support it and would not give me an override password. Can anyone please help with this or provide a working override password?

SolutionTemporary passwords for overriding LTT are:
Version 2.7 (CASE SENSITIVE)
2.7 SR1 & later (NON-CASE SENSITIVE):
Note: Always use a numeric character where a letter or number look the same.
Temporary password is '3D6PYV03FAYEFS'
Version 2.6 and earlier:
Temporary password is 'toqdztdr'
It's NOT an OEM drive. It's a drive originally produced for our enterprise channel. The only difference is with the early firmware and cosmetics.

Re: C6364A Firmware
Thanks madoc, The password worked fine. I was able to complete the firmware change. I didn't really believe the OEM thing, but I couldn't seem to convince the support guy otherwise. Thank you very much for your help!!!
