Data Protector Express
We recently had our server crash and need to Restore Windows Server.
We created Tape Backup and have one tape we would like to use to restore.
When going to Wizard, it only gives a "Restore Specific" Option, and even trying that, it says Invalid Media as the date on The Media seem to be different from what I try to Restore.
I am very confused with this software.
Please help :p

Re: Data Protector Express
If you reinstalled the OS and the application you will need to import the tape into the catalog before you can recover from it. After the tape has been imported you can use the Recover Specific wizard to recover as little or as much as you prefer.

How do I recover from and older tape as I tried, it says wrong media

Re: Data Protector Express
When you start a recovery from Data Protector Express you can choose the version of the files to restore.
When you select the file to restore, click on the "Versions" icon on the top bar. (See attached image). That will let you select which tape to recover from.
