ESL and msl library settings for SCSI Persistent Reserve

Do the HP tape drives handle or support SPC3 or SCSI Persistent Reserve? My customer noticed that there is an option to use SCSI Persistent Reserve or SPC-2 SCSI reserve. Does anyone have information on this?

Re: ESL and msl library settings for SCSI Persistent Reserve

All MSL libraries with LTO-3 and newer tape drives support persistent reservations. For ESL libraries you need LTO-4 or newer tape drives to use persistent reservations.

All HP-LTO tape drives of every type and generation support the SPC-2 SCSI reserve.
