Hyper-V FOM Install - Illegal Characters
I'm trying to install FOM 10.5 for Hyper-V on Windows Server 2012. The installation gets almost to the end and then I get an error, "Illegal characters in path. While 'Creating the configuration file...'. I've tried installing to the path C:\Hyper-V and that didn't work.
What do I need to get this installed?

Re: Hyper-V FOM Install - Illegal Characters
I'm not sure what the issue was trying to install FOM on Hyper-V, but I was able to install a fresh copy of Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V on a different server and installed FOM on that server. Once FOM was up and running on the new server I was able to do a Storage Live Migration to the production server I was originally trying to install FOM on.
I now have FOM running and connected to the CMC!

Re: Hyper-V FOM Install - Illegal Characters
You could also check if the automount is enabled in diskpart. If it is disabled, enable it.
