Is there any freeware to design (customize)Cisco catalyst switch configurations as per customers requirements? the desired software may have a drop down and/or select & add and/or pick and paste (diagramatic) features to do this task. I am new to cisco switch customization design and haven't found any tool on net to do this. Please suggest me any method to accomplish this task, as my new profile requires me to do it frequently.
Thanks in advance, and a 10 pointer for every valuable suggestion ;)
regards,

SolutionIf you want to size cisco products for SMB use small business network designer - http://www.ciscowebtools.com/sbnd/index.html
If you want to configure one Cisco switch (or other product) with appropriate GIBICS and modules - Use Product configurator
http://www.cisco.com/order/apollo/configureHome.html
If you want to design an enterprise level network in MS-Visio style GUI and get exact modules and prices to MS-Excel doc use Netfomx design expert http://www.netformx.com/solutions/desExp.asp
Other tools:
Cisco Product Advisor
he Cisco Product Advisor narrows down Cisco networking products based on product features and business requirements. The tool can be used in a novice, question-and-answer mode or in an expert, feature selection mode. Once products are recommended, they can be compared on a feature-by-feature basis. The results from Cisco Product Advisor may be used for further research and to promote productive discussions with your Cisco partner, account manager, or sales representative.

Cisco Solution Designer
