i have this message appear each 4-5 min, i scanned the network for this traffic using etherereal but no luck I couldn’t find the TFTP source, as i can understand something is requesting a file from the switch which it is not available!

Re: tftp: SENT error:1, msg: File not found
When you did the packet capture, did you monitor all ports to a mirror port on the switch?
You should be able to then set the 'tftp' filter in ethereal to find the culprit.

Hi,
I am not sure, but as I remember I have a similar problem a few years ago. In my case, it was one server with HP JetAdmin installed. Disable this service solved the problem...
