dhcp-snooping & option 82
Hello! I have the following problem.
dhcp enable on all HP J9855A 2530-48G-2SFP + switch
dhcp snooping
dhcp snooping vlan 1
interface Trk1
dhcp-snooping trust
and immediately I see agent.remote-id and agent.circuit-id on the DHCP server.
On an HP A5120-48G-PoE + EI switch
interface bridge aggregation 1
dhcp-snooping trust
dhcp snooping
but nothing changes here ... so the DHCP server does not get an agent.remote-id and agent.circuit-id
A dhcp-snooping display also lists the mac addresses but does not provide an agent.remote-id and agent.circuit-id
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance,

Re: dhcp-snooping & option 82
Hallo,

Google Translate
Both switches belong to different product lines with different operating systems.
With the Aruba 2530, DHCP option 82 is activated immediately after activating dhcp-snooping.
The switch sets its own MAC as a remote ID and the port number as a circuit ID.
It's different with the 5120. DHCP option 82 is not activated together with dhcp-snooping,
but must also be activated. That would be the command: dhcp-snooping information enable.
On page 69, 70 all options are explained here. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c02642180
