Mulicast question
We have a video server connected to a procurve 2650 which is connected to a 5300 series switch at the head end at location (A). Location (B) has a Procurve 5300 which directly connected to the 5300 at location (A).We have VLAN 2 dedicated for the video network and thats setup on all switches. Locations (B) and (A) have routing enabled however Location (B) is setup for IP multicast routing. IGMP is enable on all VLANS on all switches. My question is there anything else that needs to be done on these devices before we put this into production? Do I need to enable PIM on the 5300 at location (B)?
