Should we start guessing your Switch model or are you so kind to provide us few more details about it and its configuration with regard to its NTP setup (As Known As: help us help you...)?

These are commands that I use:

sntp server priority 1 192.168.1.250

time timezone -300
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Server NTP is 192.168.1.250
I am in Lima, Peru GMT -5 (time timezone -300)
