DL320 G5P Server

I am trying to install Windows 2003 server 64 bit onto my DL320 G5P server using the embedded sata/sas drives configured for raid 1.

I have tried all of the drivers on the hp website.

I turned off virtual install disk in the bios. I am using an HP usb floppy drive.

Anyone have any ideas why the drivers will not work for me?

Thank You
Robert

Re: DL320 G5P Server

Hi robert,
If you use a smartstart CD all drivers will be installed.
Don't you have one? download it here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=nl&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=345557&prodNameId=344318&swEnvOID=1113&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-585fdac454e04410b9d9616297

Boot with this CD and you can configure RAID (ALU) and select the OS (what will install the drivers) then it will ask you for an OS media.

Have a nice day,
HTH, Ronald

Robert is asking for the SATA drivers for the SATA embedded controller and Smartstart CD does not support that controller only smart array controllers like e200 . 6i, ...

Didn't your momma teach you to say thanks!

Thank You for the responses. Kario's 2nd link worked great. Setup recognized my raid 1 configuration.

I thank everyone very much.
