MBSA - configuring max # of administrators
The situation is that we're starting to use MBSA 2.1 as a basic sanity check (scripted and scheduled) on a series of ProLiants running W2K3.
Is there a way to configure the warning level for the number of administrators? When there are more than 2 administrators, MBSA escalates the overall assessment to Potential Risk, even if all other tests passed. MBSA uses this same threshold without regard for the number of administrators the organization may have reviewed and approved.
I've had no luck finding a way to adjust the failure threshold. If people get used to the idea that Potential Risk can almost always be ignored, they'll miss other possible problems we'd want them to investigate.
MBSA isn't a total security solution of course, but we were hoping it would make a good scheduled security check.
