This can be a driver issue. Check out the boot log file 'Ntbtlog.txt' for drivers not loaded during the startup.

Did you update the qlogic 2340 driver?

The LUN which is used for installing the Win2k3 must not be exposed to any other devices in the SAN environment. if at all it is exposed it should not be used as a boot disk by any other server.
You may also have to specify a particular LUN ID since it is a BOOT lun.
