Give SMBs what they need to succeed: Windows Server 2019 Essentials + HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers
In todayโs ever evolving world, businesses of all sizes are finding they need solutions that are hybrid ready to help them take advantage of next generation applications, and yes, this includes small and midsize businesses as well. SMBs need technology that can help keep their data secure (both on and off-premises), and these solutions need to be easy to manage and affordable. Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Microsoft have what SMBs need to succeed!
Our recent blog, โWindows Server 2019 Standard vs. Windows Server 2019 Datacenterโ discussed 2 of the versions of Windows Server 2019, Standard and Datacenter Today, I am going to cover the third version, Windows Server 2019 Essentials, designed to be an affordable, and easy-to-use, option for small businesses. Windows Server 2019 supports up to 25 users and 50 devices and one licenses covers one server with up to two processors. As with its predecessor Windows Server 2016 Essentials, Windows Server 2019 Essentials utilizes a processor based licensing model (in contrast to Windows Server 2019 Standard and Windows Server 2019 Datacenter which follow core-based licensing). Client Access Licenses are not required for Windows Server 2019 Essentials.
Of course, a server OS cannot function without a server and HPE has a great selection of SMB servers that pair well with Windows Server 2019 Essentials for increased innovation, value, and modern security.
HPE ProLiant ML Gen10 servers are versatile, offering a balance of performance and capacity with a lot of expandability options and HPE ProLiant management innovations which make them easy to use. They are right-sized for SMBs, have low acoustics to fit in anywhere, and can easily convert to a rack-mount server as needed. Plus, HPE ProLiant ML Gen10 serves are part of the worldโs most secure industry standard servers and are fully supported in a hybrid cloud environment across diverse workloads.
