Application workloads on the new HPE Alletra
I recorded a podcast looking at three application workloads that have been tested with HPE Alletra: SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle with mixed workloads. The podcast was good but too long because we covered a lot so I decided to edit it into three podcasts. In this blog, you can pick and choose which of those are of interests. Each of the podcasts are about 15 minutes long so I'll include a short description of each and point you to them.
Around the IT Block Podcast #5 Running SAP HANA Workloads on HPE Alletra
This podcast is with Chris Kinzler, a Solution Product Manager in HPE Storage. Chris is responsible for SAP HANA and Oracle; in this podcast we talked SAP HANA and in #7 we talked Oracle and mixed workloads. He discussed industry trends and some testing done with the new HPE Alletra data infrastructure that was announced on May 4th.
Here's the podcast with Chris:
You can download the podcast here.
Chris wrote a blog post talking about both SAP HANA and Oracle workloads, The new HPE Alletra: Incredible performance for your mission critical workloads.
Around the IT Block Podcast #6 Running SQL Server Workloads on HPE Alletra
Mike Harding, Solution Product Manager for HPE Storage joined me to talk about Microsoft SQL Server and what he is seeing both from an industry standpoint and specifically with workload testing that HPE has done with HPE Alletra, the new data infrastructure that was announced on May 4th.
You can download the podcast here as well.
Mike posted a blog talking more about Microsoft SQL Server that you can check out, Increase business-critical database performance with HPE All-NVMe storage .
Around the IT Block Podcast #7 Running Oracle and mixed workloads on HPE Alletra
I was again joined by Chris Kinzler and in this podcast we talked Oracle and mixed workloads. He discussed industry trends and some testing done with the new HPE Alletra data infrastructure that was announced on May 4th.
