I have Brocade 4Gb SAN Switch for HP p-Class BladeSystem. Fabric OS: v5.0.0

I need to obtain serial number by command.
I try with "chassisshow" but, this show the factory serial number (11 characters), I need 12 character serial number.

Fernando,
most of the time I get values from the "ssn" and "bsn" commands.

There is also an "ssn:" entry in the output of 'configshow'.

"chassisshow" show the factory serial number (11 or 13 characters), I need 12 character serial number (HP Serial Number).

Very interesting!!! I saw the 12 digits SN you talked about. But I was able to retrieve it via GUI not CLI. By the way, it is referenced as Supplier Serial #.I am very much interested to see How to get it via CLI.

Check out the last line of the chassisshow command, that is your HP Serial Number:

CHASSIS/WWN Unit: 1
Header Version: 2
Factory Part Num:
Factory Serial Num: -
Manufacture:
Update: Day:
Time Alive:
Time Awake:
ID: BRD0000CA
Part Num:
Serial Num: -

If you are licensing your Powerpack, you will need the switch WWN. You can get that with the switchshow command.
