What is HPE V-OEM?

The Virtual-OEM service from HPE OEM Solutions is designed to help your business remain competitive, agile and flexible as it evolves to meet todayโ€™s demand for software-based solutions.

All HPE OEM partners with IP and a repeatable HPE hardware solution can take advantage of V-OEM services. To utilize V-OEM you will have an OEM agreement with HPE around pre-defined solutions. You also continue to generate demand for these solutions, while hardware integration, installation and/or license billing can be supported by a V-OEM supplier.

This could be HPE directly or an authorized OEM channel partner. This allows you to maintain all the benefits of your turnkey solution without some of the challenges that come with hardware supply.

How it works?

Once youโ€™ve signed up as a V-OEM, the HPE OEM Solutions team will work with you to define the solution configurations best suited for your IP. You can then select the OEM channel partner(s) to support the integration and delivery of those configurations. With these arrangements in place, you can continue driving your demand generation and growth plans, handing the hardware transaction element over using one of the three options outlined below.

You will continue to carry out first-line technical support to your end-user customer throughout the solutionโ€™s lifetime, while also enjoying the benefits of the HPE OEM Solutions program.
