after system reboot some VGs are taking up to 30 minutes to activate
RP8420 11.11 after installing patch PHKL_34193 and rebooted the system some VGs are taking up to 30 minutes to activate. all the disks are part of enclosures: EMC and IBM in a SAN env.
no errors in syslog no LVM errors when activating itès only hanging.

Contact your SAN guys (EMC/IBM) for help
Are you using alternate links for the disks.
If so, may be, you have to remove the alternate links from volume groups on the SAN (EMC) disks, as alternate links should be managed by powerpath.
Use hardware diagnostic tool to see more errors (STM).
