CIFS Client and SWAT

Can I use SWAT and CIFS c at the same time?

You want to manage an HPux box that is a CIFSclient using SWAT on that same box?

SWAT is for managing a CIFS server.

Yes.

Swat is a tool that ships with samba upon which CIFS is based.

So the answer is yes, you can use both at the same time, because SWAT is used to manage a CIFS server and is completely independent from CIFS client software.
