Serviceguard is too complex of a solution for there to be a simple document to approach.
There are multiple hardware and software considerations to take into account in your planning and purchase.
I highly recommend taking a class on Serviceguard to get the best results, but if that is impractical then I would refer you to the link posted above which is the managing Serviceguard manual.
The manual is laid out very practically with some background chapters followed by some how to/step-by-step chapters.
