HP-UX 11.23 diskinfo and vgdisplay different size

I have a system (HP-UX 11.23) connected connected thru MSA1000. When I run diskinfo, I got 102 GB space but when I ran vgdisplay I have only 10 GB for my c10t0d5. I want to increase it from 10 to 25 GB. Any explanation why I got only 10 GB when actually I have a 100 GB lun. I attached some info below.

Re: HP-UX 11.23 diskinfo and vgdisplay different size

Did you extend the LUN recently?
If you did, you should have a look at "vgmodify". This comes per patch in 11.23.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: HP-UX 11.23 diskinfo and vgdisplay different size

Hi Torsten,

I do not know the history of the system. As per your message, the vg when created it was created on a 10 GB lun originally then the lun was extended to 100 GB lun (correct me if I am wrong). I tried to manpage the "vgmodify" but no entry, this command can be added to the system thru patch?
