Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
Kind of funny (and I don't know if it has been mentioned before), but some people do indeed seem to be able to give points to more answers than they actually got. Example :

P.S. Speed is back ... up to speed :-) Well done.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
This isn't an issue, but a request.
How about the hats on the page (on the left - under "user status") being links to an explaination as to what they are, and the members that are wearing those hats. That way, if you wanted to know who the "wizards" are, you can just click on the hat? And how about a new category called congratulations? Also (damn I'm running on here) has there been any thought about changing the "point" assignments to be easier so that a questioneer can assign points to as many people at one time?

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
And may I also re-request a new tickable option to ask for an e-mail notification of being asigned points to an answer I gave, so I can read the follow-up. An advantage to this to the original porter (if he does asign points) is that the answerer will more likely return to the thread for even more info exchange.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
Instead of a problem, some praise.
I've noticed over the last few weeks that the worst of the slow performance problems seem to have gone away. It's not perfect but overall seems to consistently be much better than before.
No points necessary.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
I do get notifications of postings when requested, but I rarely get the "New forum discussions" daily notification..
Have just recieved a couple since new year...
Is this a problem from ITRC or do our mail gateway swallow them?
And to procura; keep using Opera.. its Norwegian you know.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
Today the "New HP Discussions.." mail popped up. Hit the right switch Dan?, or was I just lucky to get one again.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
Jeff made me thinking and now I have edited a bit my cartoon as well.
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/UserProfile/1,,BR135148!1,00.html
I guess it is an undocumented cartoon....

Last night about 11:20PM EST
It's also been real hard to get on during 10-2 and slow the rest of the time.
Managed to kill your Search engine last night too. Said it wasn't available. Forgot to save the error message.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
I had the same, due to my addition of a HTML tag to get a clickthrough with my emailaddress.
Removing double quotes within my tag solved the problem for me!!!

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
europe2 seemed to be down for a while. I just managed to get a forum login by manually going to http://europe-support.external.hp.com, did the login there and jumped back to the forum.
The cookie seems to be valid as well....
May be this can be done by a load-balancer ?

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
For the last half an hour I've been unable to post replies - getting message page not found.
Eventually after reading answers to this thread I went to the resource centre & accessed forums from there & have managed to reply.
Regards,
Hilary
P.S. now getting thank you for your first participation, and no reply posted.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - April 2002!
Well, apparantely my mail got through ... or someone noticed that no one in Europe could post. Good thing I got my wizard's hat this weekend.
Everything seems to be OK now.
