Sysinfo Warnings
I ran a sysinfo today to my server, but for some reason, these 3 warnings came up.
WARNING (host): Dump space is underconfigured for a FULL crashdump.
WARNING (host): Dump space is adequate for the CRASHCONF configuration.
WARNING (host): Missing diags on /dev/disk/disk1_p3.
For the first one, my crashconf is as follows:
SAVECRASH: Undefined
SAVECRASH DIR: /var/adm/crash
SAVECRASH AVAILABLE SPACE: 25898MB
CRASHCONF: Enabled (referencing /etc/fstab)
Replace Option: CrashConf values REPLACE existing Kernel Definitions.
Included Pages:
Excluded Pages:
FSTAB File Entries:
CRASHCONF Configured MEMORY TO DUMP: 2370 MB
KERNEL SIZE: 121444216 Bytes.
TOTAL MEMORY TO DUMP: 24663 MB
DUMP DISK CAPACITY: 24576 MB
I believe is because the dump disk capacity. How do i correct it?
I dont know why the second warning comes up, if it is "adequate", and about the third one i have no idea why it comes up. VG00 is a raid 1 configuration.
Thanks in advance...
Richard

Genearlly as normal your system is not configured to Dump Everything in case of a crash. This is configured to perform a selective dump in case a crash occurs.

cat /etc/rc.config.d/crashconf
cat /etc/fstab
lvlnboot -v
