Error Code: 59 - No scsi disk found
Hi
The spec of the machine is 6 X 36.4 GB on a 5300 controller.
I can install the logical drive on raid 5 with an online spare using assisted and manual installation with smartstart (latest version).
I then get the error message :
"Smart start cannot continue there are no physical or logical disks on the primary controller"
It then asks to run system erase etc, ive tried 4 times but still the same. A similar problem on the KB relates to a prosignia with suggests a problem with the aspi drivers that SS uses
Any ideas please
Thanks

Re: Error Code: 59 - No scsi disk found
i was using version 4.9, i have solved the problem by loading the scsi drivers manually during NT setup (pressing f8 to load drivers) this works but you still cant use SS as I have tried it on another ml530

Re: Error Code: 59 - No scsi disk found
4.90b ss also down load the latest bios for the 5300 array controller and update the latest firmware for the server plase check the inspect for the server and it will tell you if its installed
