ProLiant DL360 Gen10 wrong RAID configuration
Hello
we configured 2 ProLiant DL360 Gen10 with Oracle linux 8 in cluster ,
we setup raid 0 instead of raid 1 for the operationg system disks (2 SSD of 450 GB each running in stripe)
is it possible to convert the raid to raid 1 without loosing data and with no downtime ?
we have HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10

Re: ProLiant DL360 Gen10 wrong RAID configuration
Hi,
I think its not possible to Migrate from RAID 0 to RAID 1.
But if the controller allows you to do, you can do, but make sure to take a backup of your data.
Also see, Features not supported with HPE SR SmartCache
NOTE: It’s important to keep data backup before performing this activity.
Data integrity is customer responsibility. HPE recommends having data backup frequently and before performing any activity so that it can be restored during disaster recovery.
Thank You!
