hi
i hvae installed and configured hp sim 4.1 with pmp 3
i have added the PMP licenses to 5 proliant 2003 servers, and the monitor status indicates that it has started, the sample rate is after 2 weeks stil 0. the agent version is either 7.0 or 7.10a
in the HP sim console the PF status is ? and when i click on it it says either the license has not been added or it is not selected for monitoring, but the PMP configuration page indicates the monitor status as started.
the number of samples has been set to 5 and i selected monitor + alert + log and applied those settings and the data collection interval has been set to 2 minutes, on some servers i changed this to 5 minutes, restarted the snmp agents but this has not made any difference
any suggestions on how i can fix this?
thanks
rogier

Re: HP SIM 4.1 and PMP 3 no data collected
just stopping and starting did the trick
when i went in to change the pmp settins all of a sudden it showed all the sample data rates, even better the HP SIM server was now listed as well in the list of monitored servers
thanks
