Older Microserver Gen8 - System Power Fault Detected

Howdy HPe smart folks!

My older HPe Microserver Gen8 which was a solid workhorse for years now has suddenly powered itself off and I've been seeing a fast flashing red light on the front.  I've tried resetting the power on it a few times, but to no avail. The IML shows the following error:

243: System Power Fault Detected (XR: 10 00 MID: FF F5 FE 01 FF FF FF 06 06 00 00 02 00 05 80 40 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)

I've tried to unplug the backplane from the motherboard, but that didn't help. I've tried memory as well, but nope. The system fans won't even power on. It sits there blinking red and there are no red lights on the motherboard.

Does anyone out there have a diagnostic to translate the error code?

Thanks!!

Hello,

Please log a support case with HPE. This issue needs a system board replacement.

Regards.

Re: Older Microserver Gen8 - System Power Fault Detected

Since this system is out of warranty and EOSL, would opening a case with support do me any good? I'd have to purchase a replacement board, but does HPe actually have the old Gen8 boards laying around still?
