Re: Issue with simple VLAN on 1910-8-PoE+ JG537A switch
Hi Parnassus and others,
I went to the museum today. First I did reset the switch to factory settings. Then I applied below settings. But unfortunately still the same issue. Camera's where working fine on default VLAN1, but connection was lost when VLAN1050 was assigned to the two camera's in port 1 and 2 and the sever in port 6.
For photos of the the settings please click this link: Link to photo's
In the "Cam_matrix_pvid1.jpg" photo you see the two camera's (the others have the wrong IP-addresses now, but would also work). Here only default Vlan1 has been applied. Camera's working as expected.
In "Cam_matrix_pvid1050.jpg" the ports 1, 2 and 6 (2 cams and server) have been changed to vlan 1050/access. Connection to the two camera's has been lost.
Please advise, what's wrong?
Thanks for your help and stay healthy!
Regards, Johan

SolutionIssue is solved!
I took the switch home, where I have a lab situation. There it worked like a charm! So must be something with the server.
I deleted and updated the NIC driver in a wild guess, et voila!
Thanks for your efforts and advise. It convinced me that I had at least understood the VLan installation manual correctly.
Warm regards, Johan
