Announcing HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI
Many enterprise IT leaders would like to move to an IT service delivery model for greater simplicity and flexibility. However, they may face constraints such as security and governance concerns, a lack of upgrade paths, and the complexity of separate private cloud and public cloud workload management. HPE and Microsoft are working together to help enterprise IT overcome these challenges with HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI.
HPE GreenLake for Azure Stack HCI is a modern hyperconverged platform for Windows applications. It simplifies everything from ordering to operations with integrated hardware, software, and services delivered as a service from HPE. As a truly hybrid solution, HPE GreenLake enables customers to use Azure services from their own data center or colocation.
The solutions are ideal for:
- IT leaders who need to take the next step for their Windows Server estate.
- Customers looking to enable automated deployment and management of containerized apps by running Kubernetes clusters on hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
- Customers looking to deploy and manage demanding SQL Server workloads running on HCI to optimize performance.
Simple and convenient
HPE GreenLake for Azure Stack HCI simplifies IT operations across data centers and clouds with a standard platform, using Microsoft-validated HPE hardware and based on HPE GreenLake Lighthouse. It simplifies and automates the time-consuming tasks required to design, configure, implement, and update the platform to get started fast. An automated, proactive, AI-based management model further simplifies IT with one operating environment for traditional and cloud operations. The ability to offload routine work, with management services, frees up staff to improve business outcomes, and IT can leverage HPE skills if there are any gaps.
Customers can also leverage industry-leading Microsoft expertise to migrate apps and data to HPE GreenLake for Azure Stack HCI, delivering a smooth transition, and speeding implementation. They can then rely on HPE as the single point of accountability globally. Plus, our secure platform and security monitoring services enable security confidence.
With HPE, the cost is predictable and aligned to actual usage, and we provide the tools to effectively manage costs and usage through HPE GreenLake Central. Customers can opt to expand the solution to include enhanced Azure services such as backup or full managed services.
HPE leads the industry with this vision. HPE GreenLake is the premier provider of the cloud outside the public cloud and is fully invested in making all HPE products available as a service by the end of 2022. Couple that with our history of collaboration with Microsoft and our expertise, and you get a combination that clearly leads.
Customers can begin ordering in March 2022, with first service available May 9. Learn more about the announcement and joint solutions:
